Calcium hypochlorite is a chemical in widespread use throughout the world. It is most commonly used in the treatment and purification
of water, but it has some inherent properties that can make it extremely dangerous. If it becomes too hot, or contaminated
with impurities, a reaction may start leading to fire or explosion.
