Strategic DataWorks, the London-based ship broking and messaging software specialist, has completed a one-year partnership agreement with RAK Training Ship Sindbad to sell and actively promote the full portfolio of Strategic DataWorks’ leading ship-broking software products throughout the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Two staff from RAK Training Ship 20-strong workforce will be dedicated solely to sales, marketing and technical support for the Strategic DataWorks portfolio. Anthony Odegbaro, director of Strategic DataWorks, said ‘Dubai is becoming an increasingly important centre for global ship-broking and RAK Training Ship, through its excellent reputation and rapid growth within the UAE, has proven itself to be a viable and valuable channel into this market.’ Captain Ajay Kotwal, director of RAK Training Ship, added ‘We are about to open our third office in the Dubai Maritime Centre in 2009 and with this expansion of facilities will come an expansion of activity.’
