WILLIS EXPANDS IN AUSTRALIA THROUGH BRADSTOCK GIS PURCHASE

UK-based insurance broker Willis Group has announced that its Willis Australia subsidiary has acquired Bradstock GIS, an Australian broker with market positions in the Melbourne and Sydney areas. Willis said that Bradstock GIS was the largest provider of automatic insurance protection and insolvency-related insurance products to the insolvency profession in the Asia/Pacific region. Gary Seymore, Bradstock GIS’ principal shareholder, joins Willis Australia as managing director, while Malcolm Irving will be chairman of the combined company and Bruce Bollom CEO.
