Solicitors call for revised PII renewal process

The Law Society described the last PII renewal process as ‘difficult and stressful’

The Law Society, which represents solicitors in the UK, has set up a special sub-group to help prepare and assist members with their professional indemnity insurance (PII) renewals in the future. The Society is responding to members’ reports of their experience during the October 2008 renewals. Paul Marsh, president of the Law Society, described the PII renewal process as ‘difficult and stressful’.
