Critics oppose plan to open up workers’ compensation market

A review by PricewaterhouseCoopers has listed the benefits of the ACC monopoly and it has advised against reform

There have been some surprising critics of New Zealand’s opposition National Party’s intention, if it wins this year’s election as expected, to remove the monopoly on workers’ compensation insurance, currently enjoyed by the government controlled Accident Compensation Corporation (ACC).
