Order to inspect accounts
Oxford Legal Group Ltd v Sibbasbridge Services Plc and another CA TLR 15 May
Oxford Legal and Hoyer Miller, the second defendant, were directors of Sibbasbridge. The claimant applied under s222 of the
Companies Act 1985 to enforce its right to inspect the company’s accounts. The defendants applied for the particulars of claim
to be struck out as disclosing no cause of action or for the claim to be transferred to the Companies Court for hearing, with
a petition under s459 of the Companies Act 1985, which was pending in relation to the affairs of the first defendant.
