When is director’s disqualifaction claim brought?

Secretary of State for Trade and Industry v Vohora and another ChD TLR 10 December

A claim by the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry to disqualify a director of a company under s6 of the Company Directors Disqualification Act 1986 has to be brought within two years. The company of which the defendants had been directors became insolvent on 7 May 2002. Accordingly, in order not to be out of time, any disqualification application had to be made by 7 May 2004.
