Versailles Trade Finance Ltd v Clough ([2001] EWCA Civ 1509)

The defendant sought to resist summary judgment in a claim for £11.3 million on the grounds that he could not plead to any of the claimant’s allegations because that might incriminate him in possible criminal proceedings.
