For a fee of £2,500 a year and £100 a month firms of solicitors are invited to join www.AccidentLine.com a new website referral service, which will guide accident victims to a local practitioner. The site will be accessible through up to 15 search engines and will be marketed through newspapers, magazines, nightclubs and sports grounds. Its founders say the service has been set up to take advantage of the fact that 43 per cent of adults now have Internet access, almost three times that two years ago. “The site is aimed at solicitors who want to embrace the Internet but do not have a Web presence, or the resources to create and market a site of their own”.
