Litigation Letter

Practice Statement (Companies Court)

A Companies judge will no longer be designated to deal with company matters. The applications judge hearing general Chancery applications will also deal with the company matters previously listed for hearing on Mondays. Any urgent application will also be dealt with by the applications judge. The issue of such company matters and formulation of the list each day will be taken by the Clerk of the Lists general office in room W11 (tel 020 7936 6816). This practice statement superseded any previous practice directions relating to the companies Monday list. The Chancery Guide (D1-001 (p1643) Civil Procedure) will be amended to reflect the above changes in due course.
