Oxygen enters PFI space

Lloyd’s insurance broker, Oxygen has created an Infrastructure Finance Team within its UK Corporate Risks Practice. Based in Manchester,
the team will focus on construction projects and post-construction operational risks for Private Finance Initiatives (PFI)
and Public Private Partnerships. Oxygen said the team will provide due diligence services, risk management advice and insurance
placement services. The team will be led by David Laughlin who established the first public sector unit for broking group
Sedgwick (now part of Marsh) where he was appointed National PFI Practice Leader. Mr Laughlin began his career in the
Lloyd’s marketplace working in the International sector with Fortune 500 companies.
