Japan’s Kyoei Life Insurance... said today that it is in talks with US Prudential on a possible equity tie-up, in a deal which media reports suggest could lead to the US firm taking control of its Japanese counterpart. Kyoei confirmed that the firms were discussing “a possible broad tie-up”.
