FINANZSCOUT24 LAUNCHES INSURANCE COMPARISON SERVICE

German personal finance portal FinanzScout24 has launched an insurance comparison service for home, motor and accident cover. Users receive a selection of quotes from a panel of 450 insurers and can apply online to buy via a link to the relevant insurer’s web site. The service is also available by telephone, with the web site providing the contact number to ring. Other insurance products available include a home contents policy for young single males from insurer Baden-Baden Versicherung, plus cover against theft of goods from cars. The service is being promoted through TV, radio and press advertising. FinanzScout24 — accessed via www.finanzscout24.de — is a subsidiary of Scout Holding, a Switzerland-based company owned by BHS Holding, which is a division of Germany-based retailer Metro.
