Marine insurance - Loss of hire policy - Vessel sustained considerable delay at Bandar Abbas because did not have customs clearance - Whether shipowners entitled to claim loss of hire under policy

The vessel Wondrous was chartered to load a cargo of molasses at Bandar Abbas for carriage to north Europe or the Mediterranean. She arrived at Bandar Abbas on 10th March 1987 but did not sail until 17 October 1988, by which date huge liabilities had been incurred both for port dues and demurrage.
