Vessel chartered on Gencon form by disponent owners - Bill of lading incorporating terms of “the charterparty” but without identifying any particular charterparty - Liabilities as between voyage charterers, registered owners and disponent owners in respect of cargo claim - Whether proper law of Gencon charter incorporated into bill of lading

The vessel was chartered by her disponent owners to the claimants on the Gencon form. The charter incorporated a London arbitration clause. Pursuant to the charter, bills of lading were issued showing the voyage charterers (hereafter “the charterers”) as the notify party. In fact, the charterers were the receivers of the cargo.
