This action arose out of the sinking of the vessel

, with the death of all crew members, somewhere off Bermuda in December 1975. The plaintiff was the appointed administrator
of the estates of the deceased crewmen. He brought a wrongful death action against the vessel’s managing agents. The court
determined that the managing agents were liable for the deaths of the crew members and entered judgment for damages in the
amount of $459,456.36.
