Cargo claim - Whether bill of lading contract governed by English, Greek or Italian law - Whether claim time-barred - Applicability of Foreign Limitation Periods Act 1984

The plaintiffs were the owners of a cargo of steel coils shipped aboard the vessel Komninos S. in Greece for carriage to Italy. The cargo was found to be damaged by corrosion when discharged.
