Whether tween decker suitable for grab discharge

The vessel was chartered for the carriage of a cargo inter alia of pig iron. Clause 34 of the charterparty provided that “vessel is suitable for grab discharge in tweendecks and lower holds”. The charterparty also provided that the vessel was to be loaded and discharged by shippers/receivers’ stevedores free of expense to the owners.
