Laytime - Whether notice of readiness validly tendered

The vessel was chartered on the Asbatankvoy form for a voyage from Aden to Bandar Abbas. She anchored off Aden at 00 24 on 21 March and tendered notice of readiness. She remained at anchor awaiting berthing instructions. The delay was caused by a banking problem in the transmission of funds to the vessel’s agents at Aden. The vessel was eventually permitted to berth as from 12 30 on 22 March but she had to wait for a pilot until 18 30. Berthing was completed at 20 00 on 22 March. Deballasting of tanks took place between 20 15 and 01 00 on 23 March.
