Laytime - Whether valid notice of readiness given by lightening vessels at Saugor

The vessel Damodar General T.J. Park was chartered for the carriage of grain from the United States to India. The charterparty contemplated that the vessel would have to discharge into lightening vessels, and provided that laytime at the discharging port was to be calculated by reference to the service of the lightening vessels. Time used for discharging from the mother vessel was disregarded.
