I. LEGISLATION

1. Act (2000:913) amending Act (1982:923) on Carriage of Dangerous Goods, implementing Dir. 99/36/EC 29 April 1999 Celex 399L0036 including instructions to be given carriers and designation of supervisory and controlling authorities.
2. Act (2000:847) amending Act (1980:424) on measures against pollution from vessels (Bill 1999/00:133), implementing the so-called Baltic Policy of strict prohibition against discharge of oil and waste in Swedish and Baltic waters and the provision of reception facilities for waste from vessels according to the “no special fee” system.
3. Marine penal legislation in various Acts specifying negligence as sufficient requirement for punishment in consequence of Act (1994:458) amending Penal Code c. 1, s. 2 requiring this to be specifically stated.
