Marine insurance - Seaworthy vessel’s unexplained disappearance - Whether loss by peril of the sea

The Lanasa Bambino , a shrimping vessel, left Key West, Florida, headed for the Dry Tortugas. Area weather conditions were good. No major storms or high seas were reported. The vessel sailed in a seaworthy condition, yet she never returned to port and was never seen again. Her disappearance remained unexplained.
