Atradius to expand trade into Russia

NETHERLANDS-based credit insurer Atradius has signed an agreement to expand its offering to Russia. Clients of the insurer, which has about a quarter share of the global credit insurance market, will be provided with coverage in Russia from local insurer AlfaStrakhovanie, part of the Alfa Group, as part of a co-operation agreement between the two firms. Eventually the agreement could be extended so that AlfaStrakhovanie’s own domestic clients can also access credit insurance.
