The effect of the new R.S.C., O.12 was considered by Mr. Justice Robert Goff in an action brought by Beogradska Plovidba against Euroship S.A., of Panama, for demurrage. The writ was issued on Nov. 11, 1980, endorsed with the points of claim, and was served on the defendants, in London, on Nov. 19. The defendants’ acknowledgment of service, including a notice of intention to defend, was entered six days late on Dec. 8.
