Agency - Whether breach of contract between principals entitled agents to damages - Court of Appeal decision

The plaintiffs had entered into a contract with the defendants under which the defendants, in consideration of the plaintiffs’ producing the buyers to them, undertook to remunerate the plaintiffs by paying them commission on the sale to the buyers and making certain other payments. The defendants failed to perform their contract with the buyers. The plaintiffs claimed that they were entitled to their remuneration under the agency contract despite the defendants’ default.
