The vessel was chartered on an amended Euromed charterparty form 1983 (Revised 1997) for a voyage in the event from Visakhapatnam ("Vizag") in India to Mariveles in the Philippines. Lines 126-7 of the charterparty allowed the charterers to fumigate cargo at their expense, the actual time used to count as laytime or time on demurrage, excepted periods always excepted.
