Limitation - Collision in River Seine - Whether time charterers' claims against shipowners limitable under 1976 Limitation Convention

On 20 November 1995, whilst proceeding along the River Seine, the Darfur collided with the Happy Fellow. The first claimants ("Blue Nile") were the registered owners of the Darfur and the second claimant was the master of Darfur. The first defendants were the registered owners of the Happy Fellow. The second defendants were the bareboat charterers of the Happy Fellow and the third defendants ("Baco-Liner") were the time charterers of the Darfur.
