Laytime - Delay at loading port caused by fog - Whether laytime exception - Whether owners entitled to quantum meruit for charterers' use of cranes at discharge port

The vessel, a bulk carrier, was chartered on an amended Baltimore Berth Grain Charterparty for the carriage of a cargo of soyabeanmeal and corn in bulk from the Mississippi River to Beirut. Disputes arose in relation to delays at the loading port and the discharge port. A rider to the charterparty provided that laytime was not to count for shifting time between anchorage and berth.
