Bermudians start to look beyond US

INCREASED competition in the US onshore insurance and reinsurance market was predicted to have an impact on the amount of business being written out of Bermuda this year. But in the wake of the four significant hurricanes in the late summer and early autumn, the island’s expertise in providing capacity for catastrophic risks is again being called into play.
