Reduced expenses help Axa Konzern

AXA Konzern, the German arm of Axa, has reported an improved technical result for the first half of this year on the back of reduced expenses and lower claims. The group still suffers from significant, albeit reduced, unrealised losses but hopes to have cleared this up by the end of the year through the sale of shares and other instruments.
