US health crisis as numbers not covered hit new record of 45m

THE HEALTH insurance crisis in the United States continued last week when government figures showed the numbers of Americans
without medical and health cover has hit 45m. The US census bureau released its statistics which showed that the number of
US citizens who did not have medical insurance in 2003 was 45m, an increase of 1.5m on the 2002 figure.
