XL raises limits to $500m for commercial property

BERMUDA’S XL Capital has increased its ability to underwrite clients’ entire programmes on a selective basis by upping its commercial property insurance limits to $500m. In the past the maximum capacity for such risks was $250m and that will continue to be the limit for risks on which XL is not able to bind the entire programme.
