HCC to buy underwriting agencies

HCC Insurance Holdings is to acquire Covenant Underwriters and Continental Underwriters, based in Louisiana. Terms of the transaction were not discolsed. The two agencies specialise in commercial marine insurance, including Mississippi tug and barge business as well as crew and service vessels in the Gulf of Mexico.
