Standard Life publishes 2002 results

Europe's largest mutual insurer, Standard Life, published its 2002 results today. Worldwide new business sales rose 16% to �1.819bn and its market share in the UK rose from 11.5% to 13.3%. �1.712bn ($2.872bn) was added to with-profits policies as equities exposure was reduced from 77% to 55% over the 12-month period.
