UK CHANCELLOR of the exchequer Gordon Brown’s announcement of a review into workplace compensation inevitably drew a mixed response from representatives from the insurance and risk management industries. The British Insurance Brokers Association (BIBA) has been at the forefront of the campaign for such a review and its chief executive, Mike Williams, was understandably delighted.
