UK National Health Service recovery proposal doubles costs for insurers

THE UK’s Department of Health has unveiled a scheme that it estimates will double the number of compensation claims where National Health Service (NHS) costs can be recovered. This will be shouldered by the insurance industry and is likely to cost in the region of £100m per year.
