Government to announce terror pool

THE Australian Treasury is on the verge of announcing the creation of a terrorism pool, backed with a $9bn government guarantee. The recommendations for the Australian Terrorism Risk Insurance Scheme, currently being considered by the Treasury, were prepared by Trowbridge Consulting and included a public consultation period during July and August.
