Callery v Gray: debate continues over recoverability of LEI and success fees

THE House of Lords in its judgment in Callery v Gray declined to enter into the debate about the recoverability of legal expenses insurance1 (LEI) premiums and the appropriate level for success fees2, leaving it to the Court of Appeal and lower courts to lay down guidelines.
