EU technical aid scheme set to be continued in face of Russian approval

RUSSIAN insurers say they want to see a new European Union technical assistance (TACIS) programme, when the current 18-month project runs out this month. The decision to continue has been made in principle by Brussels, and agreed with the Russian government, a Moscow source told ID. But the details and the start-up date have yet to be finalised, he said.
