Australia may change public liability laws

AUSTRALIAN finance ministers have proposed a change to personal injury laws to stop soaring public liability premiums crippling small businesses and jeopardising community festivals, writes Peta Miller, London. Finance minister, Helen Coonan, said that there should be limits on compensation to make people take responsibility for their actions.
