Most UK solicitors PI claims focussed on property

LONDON - Nearly half of solicitor�s professional indemnity notifications since the closure of the Solicitors Indemnity Fund in August 2000 were related to property. According to a new report from Alexander Forbes Solicitors Claims Services (AFSCS) residential property claims accounted for 28% of the total with commercial property 12%. Around a quarter of the total notifications related to litigation work.
