JLT restructuring creates two business groups

LONDON - Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group (JLT) has unveiled a new structure which will see it create two business groups - the Risk and Insurance Group and the Employee Benefit Group. The Risk and Insurance Group takes in the worldwide insurance and reinsurance broking and local government activities, while the Employees Benefit Group will consist of pension administration, outsourcing, employee benefits, consultancy and US group marketing activities. JLT said the changes would better reflect the group�s main lines of business within a simpler structure.
