Insurance Day
Nats bites government
THE UK government needs to sort out insurance for air traffic control soon instead of denying there is an issue. Otherwise
it could be caught short when Nats’ £1.8bn ($2.6bn) programme of insurance falls due for renewal on July 1. For this reason,
the new transport minister, Alistair Darling, would do well to consider carefully the points made to him by Mark Hoban MP,
when he addresses this issue on June 10 after parliament’s current recess.
