Clean-up is finished at Ground Zero

CLEAN-up efforts at Ground Zero came to an end yesterday as the last steel column from the World Trade Center (WTC) ruins (above) was taken away, writes Claire Wilkinson, New York. The occasion was marked by a brief ceremony which began at 10:29am local time, the same time the north tower of the WTC collapsed on September 11.
