PRICE FORBES APPOINTED CO-ORDINATING BROKER FOR AIRCRAFT BUILDERS COUNCIL
Price Forbes has been appointed as the co-ordinating broker for the Aircraft Builders Council (ABC). The broker is now responsible for negotiating the structure of the ABC’s programme, which is designed to provide aviation products liability for manufacturers of aircraft component parts. First launched in 1955, the ABC programme now consists of $1bn limit, product recall, the first specific policy for aircraft component manufacturers with a $20m limit, and the US portal, with a $50m limit, aimed at smaller component manufacturers and suppliers. Price Forbes also appointed David Sales as executive director from broker Ed, where he was a director in the firm's aviation division. Ian Macfarlane has been appointed ABC programme director, running the ABC office at Price Forbes.
