AIG NAMES THESRATANAVONG AS CHIEF EXECUTIVE IN THAILAND

Global re/insurer AIG has appointed Isorasak Thesratanavong as chief executive of AIG Thailand to forge partnerships that deliver growth opportunities. He is based in Bangkok and reports to Sachin Shah, AIG General Insurance’s Asia-Pacific chief executive. Thesratanavong succeeds Tomi Latva-Kiskola, who has been named president and chief executive of AIG Hong Kong and Macau and country head for Hong Kong and Taiwan. Thesratanavong re-joins AIG from Direct Asia Thailand, where he had served as chief executive since January 2018. He previously served as chief executive of Sompo Thailand from 2015 to 2017 and senior vice-president of consumer lines at AIG from 2011 to 2015.
