Understanding the Law
Legal systems or systems of law vary considerably throughout the world. Moreover, even within the major recognized ‘families’ of legal systems, such as the common law system and the civil law system, the domestic legal system varies considerably between individual nations or sovereign states. Irrespective of the source or basis of any legal systems, no two countries ‘share’ an identical system of law.
