Property insurance
19.1 Introduction
Property insurance is one of the main types of insurance. In China, generally, the non-marine insurance business is divided into two categories: personal insurance and property insurance.1 Personal insurance will be examined in Chapter 20, “Life and accident insurance,” of this book; property insurance is considered in this chapter.
