Heavy load of manual handling

THE Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992 came into force on January 1, 1993. They were made under the Health and Safety at Work etc Act 1974 and implement EC Directive 90/269. This Directive is one of a series of Health & Safety directives which implement EC Direction 89/391 (“the Framework Directive”) and which form part of the EU health and safety Regulations.
