TORCH motor syndicate 877, managed by Bates Cunningham, has become the first Lloyd‘s of London syndicate to underwrite French commercial motor business, writes Chris Quick. It has signed an exclusive agreement with French broker ATI, which previously placed its portfolio with French insurer Camat, to underwrite commercial motor, mainly in the haulage sector.
